Clinical Profile & Philosophy

My career journey started out by doing community based mental health work for 8 years. I worked with kiddos with developmental and intellectual delays for about three years before switching over to mental health diagnoses. I graduated in December with a Master of Science degree and am currently a Resident in Counseling. I am a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) Supervisee as well.
I have worked with a range of ages; 3 to 73. These individuals had a diversity of religious and cultural backgrounds as well as individuals apart of the LGBTQ+ community. I have a vast history of experience with individuals with a variety of diagnoses ranging from Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar I and II, Schizophrenia / -affective to Personality Disorders. My approach is person-centered with the integration of creative counseling and a deep commitment to finding the connection between mind, body and spirit. My philosophy leans heavy on dialectical thinking and mindfulness to learn how to navigate life’s twists and turns. A major focus of mine is self-talk in order to enhance the relationship we have with ourselves. I strive to be the safe, trusting, strengthening space for my clients. I have a passion for helping others and look forward to supporting you in anyway I can!

Fun Fact

I am a cat mom to two orange babies, Cheerio and Pancake. Also, I have gigantic sweet tooth.
