Clinical Profile & Philosophy
I am a clinician who specializes in working with teens, young adults, and couples looking to increase their range of emotional awareness, personal insight, and mental health. I work well with patients navigating depression, anxiety, and high-conflict relationships with a deep desire to increase their well-being. I have experience working with a wide variety of needs including but not limited to complex family trauma, couples navigating high conflict, anxiety disorders, depression, and suicidal ideation. I believe human’s deepest desire is to be known, understood, and validated in their pain and challenges. I approach my clients by seeking to first understand their environment, life history, and the unique challenges they face. I pull skills and approaches from the Gottman Method, CBT, and DBT. These approaches are used to support my patients in increasing their conflict resolution, emotional regulation, effective communication, and distress tolerance skills. My patients can expect from me honesty, a place to be vulnerable, freedom to explore challenging topics, and to be celebrated for their victories.
