Clinical Profile & Philosophy

My name is Lori Franco and I have worked in the mental health field for 25 years.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and provide outpatient therapy and clinical supervision to Residents in Counseling who are training to become licensed.  I believe therapy is a space for empowerment, authenticity, and meaningful change. As adults, we often carry the weight of past experiences, societal expectations, and internal narratives that can leave us feeling disconnected — from ourselves, from others, or from the life we want to be living. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, challenge limiting beliefs, and reclaim your voice.

Grounded in an integrative approach that includes CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, ACT, and Person-Centered work, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. These frameworks help us explore thought patterns, emotional responses, personal stories, and core values — not to “fix” who you are, but to support you in showing up more fully and honestly in your life.

I believe healing happens not through perfection, but through the courage to be real — to explore with curiosity, to feel deeply, and to move forward with intention. Together, we create a space where you can reflect, grow, and make choices aligned with who you truly are — not just who you've been expected to be.

Fun Fact

I have 2 very spoiled dogs, Jesse and Rain.  We love spending our spare time gardening.
