Clinical Profile & Philosphy
Lindsey has experience in community-based early childhood development programs and community based mental health crisis response for children of all ages. Lindsey also has six years of experience providing outpatient therapy in school and clinic-based settings. Lindsey is bilingual in English and Spanish and has worked professionally with members of the Spanish speaking community in Richmond for over ten years. Lindsey enjoys working with all ages of children, as well as teens and young adults. She is passionate about helping clients find the way to express themselves most authentically in therapy. Lindsey achieves this by offering age-appropriate interventions, such as child centered play therapy, for younger children. She also provides opportunities for symbolic expression through expressive art interventions or sand tray therapy for all ages. Lindsey believes in the power of therapy to heal and empower our community’s young people to develop into healthy adults and is grateful for the opportunity to partner with clients and caregivers in that process.
Lindsey enjoys cooking and gardening and has six pets.
