Clinical Profile & Philosophy

I have worked in the mental health field since 2012, with experience spanning college counseling centers, acute psychiatric hospitals, community-based services, and outpatient therapy settings. These diverse environments have shaped my understanding of human behavior and the many factors that influence emotional well-being.  I believe that healing begins with a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and deeply committed to honoring each person’s unique identity and lived experience. I recognize the impact of systemic barriers and strive to approach therapy with cultural humility and awareness of social context.

I hope clients leave our work together with greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a deeper connection to their values. I believe that living in alignment with our values fosters authenticity, stability, and personal growth. I use an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered and trauma-informed frameworks. This allows me to support clients in building practical coping skills while exploring deeper emotional and relational patterns. I have worked extensively with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting young adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those facing systemic challenges to accessing care.
