Clinical Profile & Philosophy

I believe our experiences significantly shape us and our behaviors. I hold the view that individuals understand themselves better than anyone else, and that their own thoughts and feelings are the best foundation for personal growth and skill development. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where people can share openly, and I enjoy asking thoughtful questions that help them explore their perspectives and thought processes. When working together, I hope to create a collaborative environment that encourages stability, safety, and a desire to grow. I hope that in a collaborative environment, clients gain confidence in themselves and feel comfortable using learned skills in their everyday life. I want clients to feel empowered to navigate the obstacles that occur as they often do in life.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation. I incorporate mindfulness and grounding as well and believe that these techniques are beneficial for everyone. I enjoy working with people of all ages. I have worked with youth, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I have worked with all ages in a variety of settings providing individual therapy, family therapy, care coordination, direct support, and crisis management.

Fun Fact

In my free time, I love to read, craft, relax with my dog, and play cozy video games. I also love to travel to new places, and collect trinkets and souvenirs!
