Clinical Profile & Philosophy
I believe that every individual deserves a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and safe environment to further process their thoughts, feelings, and emotions and explore ways to better manage their mental health. I enjoy using humor and a laid-back approach when appropriate to build rapport and challenge the stigma that is associated with seeking therapy. I utilize a person-centered approach while focusing on strengths to engage patients in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and somatic therapy. I enjoy incorporating art and music into sessions as well and I am always open to new suggestions for alternative ways to express yourself!
I love doing crafts or DIY projects in my free time. When I have a quiet moment to myself, I like to read on the couch with my two cats nearby or sit out in the sun and enjoy nature.
