Clinical Profile & Philosophy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and believe that every person has intrinsic value, is loveable, and has the right to joy. Each of us is a part of a family and community system, with all their accompanying complications. I enjoy working with a variety of ages and family formations, and utilize an integrative and collaborative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, and DBT-informed strategies. I love creative expression, and tend to utilize diagrams, visuals, metaphors, and therapeutic storytelling. We can all use empathetic support on our journey--building on the strengths we possess, as well as developing lagging skills.  I have experience in working with complex grief, anxiety, depression (including suicidal ideation/self-harm), trauma, and parenting and relationship challenges.

Fun Fact

You can often find me reading, gardening, being with my family, or enjoying a cat in my lap.
