Clinical Profile & Philosophy

As a therapist, I take a person-centered and trauma-informed approach. I believe that authentic human connection, empathy, and curiosity should be at the heart of the therapeutic process. In my office, I work to create a space where you can process experiences without judgment, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you, heal past trauma, and create positive changes in your life. I believe that how we relate to ourselves strongly influences how we navigate relationships with others; I support my clients in developing healthier relationships with themselves and those around them through the development of interpersonal communication skills, boundary setting, practicing personal accountability and building self-compassion. I also work to help my client develop a growth oriented mindset, and find balance and moments of joy in their lives.

As a therapist I have worked with individuals of all ages. Currently, I primarily work with adolescents and adults. I use a variety of different therapeutic modalities in my practice, depending on the needs of my clients. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solutions-Focused approaches and Motivational Interviewing techniques to help clients achieve their goals.

I am deeply passionate in the work that I do, and it’s an honor to be able to hold space for my clients. I view the therapeutic processes as highly collaborative, and regard my clients as the experts on their own lives and experiences. If my approach resonates with you and you’re ready to take the next steps in your journey of growth and self-discovery, I would be happy to begin this process with you!

Fun Fact

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, thrifting, making art, seeing live music, gaming and spending time at home with my two loving cats.
