Clinical Profile & Philosophy

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have been in the menatl health field since 2012. I believe human behavior is dynamic and ever-evolving. Each day offers a new opportunity to learn more about ourselves, how we function, and how we grow. This ongoing journey of self-understanding opens the door to meaningful change and personal development.

As a therapist, my goal is to provide a supportive and empowering space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Strengths-Based, and Narrative Therapy. These frameworks guide our exploration of thought patterns, emotional responses, personal stories, and core values—helping to clarify goals and reshape expectations.

Through our work together, I aim to support clients in reconnecting with their inner strengths and reclaiming their voice. By developing a deeper understanding of who they are and what they truly want, clients are better equipped to make choices that are authentic, aligned with their values, and empowering—allowing them to show up more genuinely in their lives.

My professional strengths include empathy, kindness, honesty, flexibility, objectivity, ethical practice, and deep compassion. I currently work with older adolescents and adults who are seeking support with depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions.

Fun Fact

I enjoy traveling, the beach, being outdoors (when it's warm), and I have 3 awesome & spunky red Boston Terriers.
