Clinical Profile & Philosophy
As a therapist, I find it important to build a strong therapeutic relationship with clients from a person-centered approach. I am a firm believer that everyone’s mental health journey is different, and therapy is not “one size fits all”. I aim to create a warm and inviting space for clients to feel safe and express themselves.
My experience includes working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Part of my work includes helping clients understand their mental health symptoms through education, so individuals learn what they’re experiencing to better assist them in working towards their goals. I tend to use Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while being trauma-informed, to walk with my clients in achieving their therapy goals.
