Why it’s Helpful
PCIT is especially effective for children ages 2 to 7 who are experiencing behavioral issues like tantrums, defiance, or aggression. It helps caregivers feel more confident and connected, while children learn to respond to structure and positive attention. Over time, PCIT supports healthier family dynamics and long-term emotional development.
