Clinical Profile & Philosophy
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in therapy, and I look forward to establishing a connection with you. I take a client-centered, trauma-informed, multiculturally sensitive approach, drawing from humanistic, feminist multicultural, cognitive behavioral/dialectical behavior therapy(CBT/DBT), strengths-based and psychodynamic theories to tailor interventions that meet your unique needs. When working with children and their families, I utilize play therapy, Trauma-informed CBT and systems theory.
Fun Fact
I came to the field of mental health counseling after working in business for over ten years. I have lived all over the country, and enjoy running, art, and spending time with my family, including my three children, spouse and two dogs!
