Clinical Profile & Philosophy

I believe that therapy can be a wonderful space for growth and development through discovering your values along with strengths. Therapy provides a safe space for telling your story and gaining insight on patterns that keep you feeling stuck. I believe that human nature is resilient, and therapy can be a tool for finding your personal resilience amidst current or past hardships.  I utilize a person-centered approach when helping others. I believe the client is the expert of their life, and I am here to walk beside clients to help them discover a greater understanding of their self-worth. As a therapist, I strive to have a warm and curious presence. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness and somatic skills with clients to assist in awareness and regulation of emotions. I have a flexible approach with clients to best meet their personal goals.

My goal as a therapist is to walk with clients in developing a greater sense of self-acceptance and compassion for themselves by discovering their personal values and purpose. I utilize evidenced-based practices such as ACT, DBT, and existential theory when working with clients. I also enjoy incorporating art and creative interventions. I have worked with people experiencing grief/loss, major life transitions, anxiety disorders, trauma, mood disorders, and substance use.
