Clinical Profile & Philosophy

My career in social work began in a therapeutic day treatment program during my undergrad, where I worked with neurodivergent children ages K-12. We worked to set goals for target behavior, create coping skills and form relationships with peers. I approach individuals with a mindset of empathy and understanding. I believe in meeting each client with empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of their unique life experiences. By taking a holistic approach that considers both their present challenges and personal history, I strive to create a therapeutic experience that is tailored to their specific needs, fostering healing and growth in a safe, supportive environment. I look forward to continuing my studies at VCU and acquiring my MSW. My therapeutic approaches mainly focus on DBT and CBT as well as art and play therapy for younger children.

Fun Fact

I enjoy climbing, video games and crafts and have a shepherd mix named Mabel.
