Clinical Profile & Philosophy
I am passionate about creating and working with practical and implementable approaches to mental health. I utilize principles of psychology, brain science, fitness, and nutrition, and community mental health techniques to provide services that are customized and tailored based on each person. Mental health should allow and empower individuals to create the best version of themselves. I have a dynamic or "a little bit of everything" approach to mental health which includes cognitive behavioral techniques, dialectical behavioral techniques, play-based treatment, recreational and music techniques, mindfulness, breathing exercises, and more. I believe mental health should account for the whole person, including their likes and dislikes, their passions, hobbies, and, of course, their own personal goals and dreams.
Fun Fact
I was raised in a small town and I have called Richmond my home for 14 years now. I enjoy nature, playing music, and cooking in my free time.
